I’m Doris — relocation coach, slow-traveling mum of three, lifelong explorer, and firm believer that everything is possible when you follow your curiosity.
Those who know me describe me as a creative thinker with a deeply human approach. I blend empathy with structure, curiosity with clarity — and I’ve spent a lifetime building the tools, experience and mindset that now allow me to guide others through big life transitions, including international relocation and lifestyle redesigns.
If you’re dreaming of more than just a move — a full lifestyle redesign abroad — I’m here to help you thrive, not just survive.
I grew up in the stunning Dolomites and left my home in South Tyrol in my teens to explore the world. I started with regional travel and seasonal tourism jobs, slowly building up to intercontinental journeys across five continents.
After earning two degrees in translation and interpreting, and becoming fluent in four major European languages, I expanded my travels beyond Europe. I spent a year exploring Australia, New Zealand and Southeast Asia, and another year crossing the Americas — from Tierra del Fuego to Alaska. I was a digital nomad long before the term existed, working remotely and uploading translations in internet cafés in the pre-WiFi days — constantly learning how to balance freedom with structure.
Eventually, I paused long enough to settle in London, where I built a successful career in project, account and talent management within fast-paced creative agencies. I led multicultural teams in Berlin, London and Zurich — learning how to bring out the best in people, manage cultural complexity, and navigate the unspoken challenges of cross-border work and life.
After becoming a mum, I nearly bought into the narrative that travel ends with children. That parenting means choosing stability over adventure.
But that wasn’t our story.
Slowly but surely, my husband and I began exploring again — first locally, then across Europe, eventually traveling through Africa, Asia and the Americas with our three young children.
To date, we’ve lived in nine countries and travelled to over 90— 50 of them as a family. Our international relocations have taken us from the buzz of London to the calm of Málaga’s Mediterranean coast, from vibrant Belfast to cosmopolitan Zurich, and to a tiny mountain village in the Italian-speaking part of Switzerland. Each place has been a lesson in intentional living, adaptability and designing a life that feels aligned and fulfilling.
Alongside our adventures, we created Ca'Dario Andalucia, our base camp and soulful holiday villa for families in Southern Spain — a space for connection, conversation and conscious travel.
I also deepened my practice by earning a life coach certification, allowing me to bring together over 15 years of professional experience in leadership, communication and cultural adaptation with the lived reality of building a slow-travel lifestyle.
Through it all, I’ve learned that relocation is more than logistics.
It’s emotional.
It’s personal.
It’s an opportunity for transformation.
Now, as a certified life coach, I support individuals, couples and families through every stage of the relocation journey — from vision to reality. I combine lived experience, proven tools and holistic strategies to guide you through this powerful life transition.
Because relocation isn’t just about moving — it’s about stepping into who you’re becoming.
